I got smacked upside the noggin with a ridiculous head cold earlier this week, and I’m still reeling. Also, still painting. Also, cold medicine might have had a part to play in my latest painting:
Gertrude VonWhiskers III.
She’s the heiress to a San Francisco processed meat fortune.
Another factor in the kitty painting: someone recently asked me if I could paint a cat. My answer was I really don’t know. It’s weird, because I used to be as obsessed with cats as a child as I currently am with dogs. So I had to test it out. My sketchbook is filling up with kitty sketches. It’s weird. I’m not sure if I should list her in the shop or not. I kind of really like her, though.
ALSO! Other news: I’ll be shutting the shop down tomorrow until June 16th for a wee vacation. See you after that!
