Little Animals With A Lot On Their Minds - part one

Little Animals With A Lot On Their Minds - part one

In 2016, I took on a project to create 30 miniature paintings in 30 days. I called this project, as you may have surmised from the title, "Little Animals With A Lot On Their Minds". Each one has a little backstory, and the title of each one itself is kind of a micro story... and speaking of stories, I turned them all into a book. Which has been long out of print, but! You can pick up a digital copy right here.

And now on to the first ten days of the project!

The above painting is actually day zero. It didn't make it into the book, and it's visually quite different from the rest.

"Louis Visualizing World Peace And Bacon Bits, Again"

"I know decaf when I taste it, Gerald, and I do NOT appreciate the hint."

"Josephine: Side eye master of the canine sass unit"

"I'm in the best shape of my life, except now I am rather old and quite tired."

"Sophia may have named me Nibbles, but my true name is Justice"

"I am the moth of unexpected fabulousness. Your day just got better."

"Don't call me Doge. My name is Betty."

"Cock a doodle you, baby"

"Prelude to the great kibble kerfuffle of 2016"

"Maybe if I rub enough essential oil on this problem, it will go away"

And there you have it, the first chunk of the project.  If you'd like to read the whole thing, you can pick up a copy of my book here!
